The place where I live is prone to power outages at certain times of the year. In the summer, when everyone has the air conditioning on full blast, we get everything from brownouts to full outages that last for hours. In the winter, a good ice storm literally stops everyone cold, sometimes for a week or more. Since I do a lot of computer work from home, I have been looking for a good backup plan. As long as I can get power to my computer, my internet connection and charge my phone, I can still earn my daily keep [...] Continue Reading…

Benefits from Hiring a Virtual Legal Assistant for Your Law Practice
February 6th, 2012
A virtual legal assistant can be a huge benefit for your law firm or law practice. Hiring one can be a lot more cost effective than hiring a full time paralegal employee. As an employer, the lawyer or law firm will only be paying for the hours that it took to complete the assigned task, so there will be no need to pay for employee benefits. You will also not need to buy office equipment as paralegals that work from home are expected to have their own equipment to get the job done. Because virtual paralegals work from home, [...] Continue Reading…

The Solar Films Will Do Us Some Good
February 6th, 2012
I am glad that I get to enjoy my den without too much sunlight now. The solar film has really made a difference! I like to just relax in there, so when the sun starts beating down on my face, I find it to be distracting. I wanted to find a solution for it, but I knew that I did not want anything to interfere with the great light that I get. I wanted to tone down the rays a little, so I found out that I could still keep the windows translucent with the films. I enjoy looking [...] Continue Reading…

one of the first items on my Healthy Diet Food List when I go shopping is coffee. I like to mix it with one packet of Stevia and some cream. Unfortunately, I have more coffee each day than I should. It is one of my vices. I put down 3 to 4 cups of coffee a day.
One of the big problems [...] Continue Reading…
